WHAT \ U.N. Safe Planet Campaign \ Art Contests

PAULINA LOPEZ FLETES won first prize in the Safe Planet POPs Essay/Art Contest held at the Universidad Tecnológica de Cancún, Mexico in December, 2010.   Paulina was invited to join Safe Planet at the Fifth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention in Geneva, Switzerland on April 20-25, 2011 where she presented her winning video ‘Contaminantes Organicos Persistentes’ to the Delegates.

Other winners received a $500 scholarship for their excellent essays, videos and posters portraying the danger of Persistent Organic Pollutants in our environment:
