Chris Jordan confirms Artist Residency at ArtMill

His mesmerizing and disturbing images have changed how we view our environment.

Award-winning photographer Chris Jordan will join us this fall to work on his new series based on forests. ArtMill is honored to have the artist that has influenced the public around the world on consumption issues and waste, perhaps most powerfully with his series on Albatross and plastic pollution. See more of his work here, including his great TedTalk from 2014: "Artist Chris Jordan shows us an arresting view of what Western culture looks like. His supersized images picture some almost unimaginable statistics — like the astonishing number of paper cups we use every single day.

Chris Jordan runs the numbers on modern American life — making large-format, long-zoom artwork from the most mindblowing data about our stuff."

Chris will be lecturing in Prague at Anglo-American University, open to the public, and doing a workshop with students from FAMU (the Film Academy) at ArtMill. Stay tuned for details in November!
