PROGRAMS \ Summer Camp \ Languages
As members of the world community, and as fostering our youth to want to belong to that global populace, we must not be afraid to learn new languages. While the time at ArtMill is not enough to become fluent in a second, third or fourth language, it's enough to get the student over any block about communicating with foreigners. Our mix here is usually half Czech, half "other", meaning everything else. English is the main language, and there are always 5-6 native English speakers. Our core team is bi/tri lingual, so no child should ever feel they are isolated. Our motto regarding a new language is "jump into the lake, and swim!". Each student is required to have at least one foreign language hour/day.
